About Robertson's

Opened in 2006 by husband-and-wife team Seth and Sally Robertson, Robertson’s Restaurant in Tavistock has become a local institution and the town’s go-to foodie destination.

We originally started life as an organic sandwich and juice bar, evolving over the years into a fully licensed gourmet pizzeria and restaurant. In 2010 Robertson’s won an Observer Food Magazine award for “the best pizza in the Southwest, with a huge local following”. Our use of fresh dough, our own sauce, innovative toppings and authentic Italian stone-based pizza ovens helped us to clinch the award, something we’re very proud of!

We strive to use high-quality ingredients, sourced as locally as possible. From flour and cheese to meats and vegetables, we strive to use organic and fresh ingredients in each and every dish. Much of the produce is grown locally, including some of the salads and herbs – which are home-grown and harvested daily. Each and every dish served is home-made by our chefs, with a fantastic menu to choose from. With everything from our famous pizzas and Italian-style pasta dishes to hearty sandwiches and indulgent cakes, there’s something to suit all tastes and appetites.
